Spring/Summer/Fall (April 4, 2016 to December 23, 2016)
Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
(Scale Closed Approx. 12:00 –12:30PM)
Saturday 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Winter Hours (December 24, 2016 to April 3, 2017)
Wednesdays ONLY: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
(CLOSED for the season but the site will be open on Wednesdays ONLY,
subject to weather and at the discretion of the Department of Public Works.)
Yard Waste Site
Last years resident pass expires March 31st. You must get a new Resident pass before you will be allowed to dump. Please be advised that any residential vehicle dumping without a City of Norwalk Recreations and Parks Resident Pass will have to pay either $20 or the tip fee for the material, whichever is higher.
Payment of check or charge only, cash is not accepted at the Transfer Station or Yard Waste Site.
Any pickup truck, van, or vehicle pulling a trailer that does not have a permit will have to pay either $20 or the tip fee for the material, whichever is higher. Proof of residency is required. For more information on fees contact Customer Service at (203) 854-3200.

Residents who receive City Services Christmas Tree Collection Schedule during the month of January 2017 Christmas Tree Collection: NO PLASTIC BAGS OR DECORATIONS.
Trees will be collected twice during the month of January 2017, the weeks of January 9 – 13 and January 23 – 27.
Have trees curbside by 6 AM on the MONDAY of the above collection weeks.
The yard waste site will be open from January 9th through 14th and January 23th through 28th, 2017 for Christmas tree and yard waste drop off.
