Learn-to-Swim Program

`The Learn-To-Swim Program provides children ages four and older with the skills needed to learn how to swim, as well as how to stay safe in, on, and around the water. 

LEARN-TO-SWIM PROGRAM INFORMATION


Children must be 4 years old as of the first day of class.  NO EXCEPTIONS !!!!
Classes are held at Norwalk High School Pool - 23 Calvin Murphy Drive
Session costs are based on the number of classes to be held in that particular month.
Level 1, 2, and 3 classes are 30 minutes in length.
Level 4 classes are 45 minutes in length.
WEEKDAY CLASS INFORMATION
Classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Class times for levels 1-3 are:  5:00pm, 5:30pm, and 6:00pm.
Class times for level 4 are:  5:00pm, 5:45pm
WEEKEND CLASS INFORMATION
Classes are held on Saturdays AND Sundays.
Class times for levels 1-3 are:  12:00pm, 12:30pm, 1:00pm, 1:35pm
Class times for level 4 are:  12:00pm, 12:45pm

REC SWIM TEAM INFORMATION

- This team is open to our upper level swimmers who want to challenge themselves and their swimming abilities.  Lessons will now become workouts with a focus on good technique and swimming faster.
Pre-requisite:  ability to swim 25 yards of the four competitive stroke (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle)

6:30pm - 7:30pm                        -TIME-             1:35pm - 2:35pm
FEES are based on the number of days in a session 
SESSIONS are for two months

Guidelines


Please read the skill level information carefully so that your child can be placed in the appropriate group, which are arranged by skill level and age if possible. We also ask that everyone follow the NHS Pool rules. These rules help our swimmers and their families stay safe in the pool and pool areas.

Registration Information


This program accepts on-line, walk-in or faxed registrations. Faxed registrations will not be accepted before the first day of registration. Faxed registration forms will be processed after the walk-in registrations.
