Call to order at 5:30 PM
Minutes of February 12, 2002 meeting. A motion to approve was made by Ms. Lemmon, seconded by Dr. Tracey and passed unanimously.
Strategic Plan Dates
The dates for the Strategic Planning sessions are May 21, May 28 and June 6, 2002. The Health Department Waiting room will be used and the sessions are from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Jim Fairfield-Sonn will be the facilitator.
Progress Report on Goals
A report accounting for progress made toward achieving goals through the end of the third quarter (03/31/02) was reviewed.
Environmental Fee Changes
At the request of Mr. Callahan this item consideration of this item was deferred to the September 9, 2002 meeting.
Other Business
Cigarette Vending Machine Ban
Dr. Tracey updated the Board on the findings of his search for published information on this subject. Mr. Callahan will copy and distribute this information to the other Board members. Further discussion will take place at the June 11, 2002 meeting.
May 2002 Meeting
The time commitment for Board related activities in the month of May 2002 is considerable since all members will participate in the Strategic Planning session. Therefore the May 2002 meeting is cancelled.
