ATTENDANCE: Jeffrey Ingraham, Chairman; Carol Frank; Nancy Burke; Barbara Hudgins.

STAFF: Margaret Suib, Fair Housing Officer.


CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 3 p.m. by the Chairman.

APPROVAL OF JANUARY 14, 2008 MINUTES

** MRS. FRANK MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES AS SUBMITTED.
** MRS. BURKE SECONDED.
** MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

The Chairman thanked Ms. Hudgins for serving as the Acting Chairman at the last meeting.

OLD BUSINESS

DISCUSSION AND ACCEPTANCE OF FAIR HOUSING OFFICER’S ANNUAL REPORT

** MRS. FRANK MOVED TO TABLE TO THE NEXT MEETING.
** MS. HUDGINS SECONDED.
** MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

FAIR HOUSING OFFICER’S MONTHLY REPORT

Ms. Suib reviewed her report, including the work plan. The Fair Housing Commission luncheon will be held on May 16th at noon. Sara Pratt, the consultant, will charge a fee of $1,500 plus expenses. Ms. Suib reviewed the budget recommendation. They asked for $115,000; the recommendation was $111,000. There is a possible case whereby condo rules prohibit anyone who is not a related couple to rent, which is illegal. A brief discussion took place on how people find the Fair Housing Office.

NEW BUSINESS

The next meeting will take place on March 17th, possibly at 3 p.m.

Mrs. Burke spoke about the nice article about the Chairman re getting a woman out of a nursing home.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
