Minutes of October 12, 2004 Meeting
A motion to approve the minutes of these meetings was made by Dr Tracey, seconded by Mr. Lalime and was passed by a unanimous vote.

Influenza Program
The Connecticut Department of Public Health is encouraging local health departments to distribute flu vaccine to providers who are in contact with patients at highest risk of complications from the flu. A plan is being devoped to resell most of the vaccine.

Health District Task Force
Mayor Alex Knopp and New Canaan First Selectwoman Judy Neville to examine the formation of a Health District are forming a Task Force. Dr Tracey and Ken Lalime will represent the Board of Health. Other Norwalk representatives include Betty Karkut, Administrator Honey Hill Care Center, Common Council members Jeannette Olmstead-Sawyer and Richard McQuaid. The Task Force is scheduled to meet six times. A final recommendation is due by April 1, 2005.

Personnel
A search for a WIC Program Coordinator is underway. The process should be completed by December 15, 2004
