RCC provided a slide show for the Network Study Kickoff Meeting.
The main topics discussed were:
Introduction of City and RCC teams.
The City Team members / Department Liaisons (some were present)
Peter Berry and Andrew Alpert discussed the RCC Project Team
Review of Project Goals and Objectives.
Develop WAN, with cost estimates.
Telecommunications Standards.
Schools - Existing Projects. McMahon/Brookside (Other Capital Projects)
Procurement Process (Implementation of WAN).
Review of Scope of Work and Schedule.
Needs Assessment, Interviews/Site Inspections.
Network Design, Cost Estimates, Existing Conduit Use.
Additional Tasks.
Review EOC (Emergency Operations Center)
Review Specifications for Combined Dispatch / Phone System.
GIS review for tax assessor revaluation.
Fiscal Analysis / Return on Investment
