ATTENDANCE: Ed Schmidt, Gerald Foley, John Lindquist, John Silbert, John Quinn, Larry Manzi, Craig Reichenbach, Kevin Poruban, Dave Lepus, Chris Buswell
John Lindquist reviewed Stamfords RFP and will send his SBC proposal to RCC.
Stamford is also in the process of testing Video Systems
and may have more data available
next week.
RCC has finished site inspections and need to meet with Utilities this week.
RCC also is working with BOE on the McMahon project; Craig is meeting with
RCC next week.
There were Voice over IP comments and concerns about losing of the location
of a caller.
IT department should look into UPS backup for critical users PC's.
Police Station bids came in almost 3 million under estimates.
RCC may have a recommendation on Cat 6 wiring for Police Building.
RCC will help determine the Spec's for the Police Phone System.
Discussion about finishing the wiring of City Hall for a few thousand dollars, as compared to the high estimates given in the past.
The next meeting will be on February 19th, 2002 in room 101
at 3pm.
