TECHNOLOGY AND TELELCOMMUNICATION COMMITTEE MEETING ACTIONS

FEBURARY 19, 2003
ATTENDANCE: Ed Schmidt, Gerald Foley, John Silbert, Larry
Manzi,
Craig Reichenbach, Dave Lepus, Peter Berry, Mike Yeosock, Tom Schadlich
Minutes from previous meetings were approved and are posted
on the citys website.
Peter Berry met with 3rd Taxing District and will be meeting with 2nd Taxing
District and Snet this week, but he is still having problems contacting other
Utilities.
Discussion of 3rd Dist. Library connecting with other librarys/city/BOE
led to possible inclusion of the following: Hospital, Norwalk Comm. College,
NEON, Maritime Center, Discovery Center for Children, All Saints School, Rowayton
Library
Peter Discussed the Status of the Police Station and Brien McMahon Projects
and said he is waiting for finalization of the contract from BOE/Law Dept.,
and that the contract is not currently holding up any progress.
The Need Assessment Report will be completed on time by RCC.
RCC will be presenting the Needs Assessment Report (DRAFT) at the next meeting.
There will be NO meeting next week, Feb. 26th.
The next meeting will be on March 5th, 2002 in room 231 at
3pm.
