ITT COMMITTEE MINUTES

April 16, 2003

ATTENDANCE: Ed Schmidt, Gerald Foley, Larry Manzi, Dave Lepus, Mike Yeosock, George Leary (TDD), David Brown (TDD), Kevin Poruban, David Wrinn, Chris Buswell, , Steve & Dominic (RCC), Susan Wallerstein, John Silbert, Jerry Ilaria (Norwalk Hospital), Marty McGowan (Norwalk Hospital).

Ed Schmidt gave a summary and current status of the ITT committee (to bring the Norwalk Hospital and Third Taxing District up to date).

Norwalk Hospital gave a summary of current projects and their wish list.

They said the emergency management system is not sufficient and better communications with the Police, Fire and EMS is needed.

The Hospital showed interest in being on the citys fiber loop, as well as being included in

any radio or phone systems. Also they expressed interest in Hospital to Hospital communications.

The Third Taxing District expressed interest in being connected to the citys fiber loop also.

 

The next meeting will be at 3pm in room 231 on April 23rd, 2003.
