TECHNOLOGY AND TELELCOMMUNICATION COMMITTEE MEETING ACTIONS

ATTENDANCE: Ed Schmidt, Gerald Foley, Larry Manzi, Dave

David Wrinn, Chris Buswell, , Peter Berry, Armand Madeo, Rick Hayes,
Peter Berry discussed the MAN/RFP responses. In discussion
of migrating from the existing network to the new network it was suggested
that a block of time (200 or 300 man hours) be included in the RFP for migration.
Peter Berry also reviewed several questions by vendors.
Gerald Foley and Peter Berry will review any outstanding questions and send to all ITT committee members.
Ed Schmidt mentioned that the law department is working on the model contract.
Peter Berry gave a status report on Brien McMahon stating that RCC will be done with the
design by Friday. A presentation will be made to the ad hoc building committee on Sept. 18th and the NFCC will review on Sept. 22nd.
Peter said the police department design is going well and RCC will meet with architect to finalize on Wednesday. Peter also said that RCC will have the report for the Maritime Garage finished by next week. Ed Schmidt mentioned that the construction of the Maritime garage will be finished by the end of November.
Next week RCC will provide a matrix of projects they are working on.
The next meeting will be at 3pm in room 231 on September
