Gerald Foley reviewed the open questions from the MAN/RFP vendors.
RFP question submission ends on Sept. 18, 2003.
Addendum 3 was discussed, specifically question # 3 (migration support).
Gerald will add the open questions and answers to addendum 3.
E-rate concerns were discussed, and RCC was asked to continue to research.
John Lindquest may have an E-rate contact we can speak with.
On Tuesday the council approved 54 PC's for BOE (rowayton school) from dell.
Another 20 dell PC's were purchased for the library.
Steve (RCC) briefly reviewed the current RCC projects and
next week RCC will provide a matrix of projects they are
working on.
The phone systems for existing and new sites were discussed, as well as RCC's
involvement.
Norwalk City Hall was mentioned as possibly being one of the first sites for the new phone system.
The next meeting it tentatively scheduled for 3pm in room
231 on September 17, 2003.
