Peter Berry reviewed changes of the draft update for the MAN RFP.
Vendors calling about why RFP was changed were told that it was updated with
Erate elements. The proposed due date of the updated MAN RFP is October 31,
2003.
John Lindquest will look into Erate consultants and pricing, as Gerald Foley recommended that an Erate consultant review the updated MAN RFP.
There was discussion about the RFP questions and answers
from the previous RFP.
Peter Berry will look into incorporating these into the updated MAN RFP.
Peter Berry also reviewed the RCC project matrix, which consisted of the current Norwalk projects RCC is working on. These included the MAN, Brien McMahon High School, Police Station and Combined Dispatch, SONO Library, and the Maritime Garage.
Armand Madeo discussed the top priorities for the city and
the software and vendors that are under consideration. These priorities were
Backups and Recovery Plan, Antivirus Solutions and Microsoft Licensing.
Paula Polarmo gave an intro of TTTI, which trains teachers.
City employees might be able to use this service for training in the basics (word, excel, access and basic computer skills).
The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for October 1, 2003 at 3pm in room
