TECHNOLOGY AND TELELCOMMUNICATION COMMITTEE MEETING ACTIONS

NOVEMBER 6, 2002

Minutes from the October 30, 2002 meeting were approved.
RFP 1954 pre-bid is tomorrow at 3pm in room 101.
Questions received from RFP1954 were reviewed.
Police building specifications, grade of cable, plenum vs non-plenum, testing,
wiring and electronics purchase timing were discussed.
The Brookside school project was discussed and Mr. Foley will provide the
specifications for that project.
E-Rate reimbursement for BOE and Library's was discussed, and will be the
main topic for the next meeting. Mr. Yeosock will supply the fiber loop diagram.
Attendees needed at the next meeting include Stewart Opdahl, Les Kozerowitz.
Purchasing/Finance will make the BOE and Library phone usage amounts available.
Draft of Network Communication Review/Department Liaison
form was amended and will be distributed to every department.
Data Processing is to provide the list of software used,
hardware numbers, and cost elements, as well as give a summary of the current
network administration operation.
Finance will provide a list of existing telecommunication expenses.
The next meeting will be on November 13th, 2002 in room 101.
