ITT COMMITTEE MINUTES
January 21, 2004
ATTENDANCE: Gerald Foley, Larry Manzi, Bob McGregor , Peter Berry (RCC), Mike Yeosock, Gerald Foley, Craig Reichenbach, David Wrinn, Armand Madeo,
Tom Schadlich, Harold Alvord, Mike Latessa, Tom Hamilton, Ed Schmidt, Rick Hayes
MAN RFP Project status was reviewed by Peter Berry.
Four interview were completed and follow up questions were submitted to the vendors.Vendors should have answers to the follow up questions by Friday Jan. 23rd.Analysis will be done and a 2nd round of interview will be done on Wednesday Jan. 28th.Recommended Vendor should be chosen by the end of the day (Wednesday Jan. 28th).
Erate filing deadline of Feb. 4th 2004 was discussed and special council meeting may be needed. Meeting with Council on Thursday Jan. 29th to review MAN, Vendor selection and Give the Council a presentation (by RCC and selected vendor). Also copies of Erate forms 470 and 471 should go out in the council packets on Friday. Several Erate questions need to be answered by Dave Cornett.
RCC City Telephony Solution - Peter Berry said that it is currently on hold due to the urgency of the MAN / Erate deadlines.
Craig Reichenbach asked for the Multimedia projectors and Carts to be taken off the calendar, and stated that the purchase is on hold.
Armand Madeo reviewed the status of the Backup and Recovery RFP.
A short list is being created and interview will be scheduled, but we need to wait to see the direction of the MAN before going further.
Dial Tone Service & LD Service RFP 2084 - To replace current services, Gerald Foley is setting up committee to review.
Neoteris - the remote Email access appliance will be ready for a test rollout this week.
Select people will be given access and test from home/work etc.
Munis Office and Crystal Reports Writer - Armand Madeo reviewed the benefits of these
products and stated that the price includes 2 days training for up to 24 people and 1 year support. The Committee approved the purchase.
