ITT COMMITTEE MINUTES

December 3, 2003

ATTENDANCE: Gerald Foley, Larry Manzi, Dave Lepus, Kevin Poruban, Chris Buswell, Paula Palermo, Steve (RCC), Rick Hayes, David Wrinn, Armand Madeo,
Craig Reichenbach, Mike Yeosock, Tom Hamilton, Ed Schmidt, Frank Sarno

Craig Reichenbach mentioned that he has given Gerald the computer table specifications for the RFP. Gerald Foley will be putting out the RFP soon.

Also Craig said there will be a new request from BOE for Approximately 160 multimedia projectors.

Craig gave a brief Briggs update, stating that the software is not in.

Bids for backup/recovery RFP are due December 4th.
Proposals for MAN are due December 5th. Review of these proposals will be done at next ITT meeting.

Armand Madeo is putting together the specifications for the anti virus solution.

Dave Lepus expressed concern that we are looking to purchase communications console units that are being discontinued by motorola.

The current phone system was discussed. The committee was in agreement that a usage study should be done to determine the load on the current system.

Also the wiring needs for city hall were discussed.

Armand Madeo reviewed the likely phases of the phone system implementation.
Phase 1 - City Hall
Phase 2 - Brien McMahon
Phase 3 - Public Safety

RCC is currently doing the phone system study and will have results by the end of December.
