ITT COMMITTEE MINUTES
December 10, 2003

MAN RFP Proposals were distributed for evaluation by the IIT committee members.
Peter Berry mentioned that five or the six proposals had
Fibertech as the fiber provider, and SBC being the lone proposal without Fibertech.
Armand Madeo prepared a comparative summary for the RFP 2074 proposals.
It was suggested that Erate be included in the summary.
The ITT committee will reconvene next week to review. Then meet again on Tuesday
December 23 at 1pm. Also interviews will be scheduled in early January.
Peter Berry reviewed RCC's current projects and the status.
RCC is currently doing the phone system study and will have finished collecting
results by tomorrow and will be ready to present at next Wednesday's meeting.
There was also discussion of the amount budgeted for the different phone systems and the cost of rewiring the 1st and 2nd floor of city hall. Ed Schmidt suggested bidding out the City phone system separately.
Ed Schmidt introduced Harold Alvord and gave a brief overview
of the new Director of Public Works qualifications.
Backup and Recovery RFP 2069 bids have been received and Armand Madeo gave
a summary of the project status. 22 responses were received.
Dial Tone Service & LD Service RFP 2084 - To replace current services, pre bid is tomorrow.
Chris Buswell gave a brief overview of the "Tech-Cycle" program and said he will be meeting with NEF tonight. Chris said the current donation might have from 500 to 2500 PC's.
