HARBOR MANAGEMENT
Harbormaster Griffin reports language regarding the Norwalk Harbor Management Plan revision and the proliferation of docks still being reviewed by DEP. Rowayton Yacht Club submitted application to Harbor Management Commission to renew permit under the five-year renewal guidelines. Harbor Management needs to review application to make sure it remains constant with the Harbor Management Plan. Dredging permit with DEP for Phase II expires in 2008 but according to DEP the opportunity exists to extend the permit for one more year. Funding for the project remains a big issue.
