1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Atkin called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. and announced they didn’t have a quorum.
2. AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN OF THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH NXEGEN, INC.
It was discussed that Nxegen, Inc. would assist the WPCA with achieving a contract with CMECC/Third Taxing District generator project. The action item was moved to the September 11, 2006 meeting.
3. PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR REPORT
a. Discussion of Transfers from Surplus Fund Balance.
The Mayor is going to request the Corporation Counsel to review the ordinance on the subject matter and provide their interpretation.
b. Westport Avenue Sewershed Issues/ 6 Gwendolyn Update
Mr. Dahl said that he and Ralph Kolb met with Lochner Engineering over the status of the project. Lochner Engineering is identifying the sanitary sewer issues and will have a packet within the next two weeks. OMI is conducting additional CCTV work.
4. ADJOURNMENT
** MAYOR MOCCIA MOVED TO ADJOURN.
** MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
