COMMON COUNCIL ACTION
March 16, 2004
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK, IS HEREBY CALLED AND WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MARCH 16, 2004 AT 8:00 P.M. EST IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT NORWALK CITY HALL, 125 EAST AVENUE, NORWALK, FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES TO WIT:
Mayor Knopp opened the meeting at 8:00PM and led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance.
I. ROLL CALL 12 Members present:absent Coffey, Wien, Kimmel
II. ACCEPTANCE OF THE CALL OF THE MEETING Accepted
III. MAYOR
Mayor Knopp asked for a moment of silence in memory of Officer Paul Stevens. He was a sixteen year veteran of the force and leaves a wife and four children. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 18th 2004 at Grace Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m.
IV. FINANCE COMMITTEE
1. Approve Operating Budget Cap Resolution attached. Approved
V. ADJOURNMENT 8:20p.m.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the within and foregoing Notice of a Special Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Norwalk, to be held at 8:00P.M.
