Mr. Kimmel asked what exactly the state reimbursement is for. Ms. Biagiarelli said that it was for the elderly and that it would be a cumbersome procedure.

Mr. Miklave reentered the room at 7:47 p.m.

Delinquent Tax Report

Mr. Kimmel stated that there was no Delinquent Tax Report available to be discussed tonight. Ms. Biagiarelli stated that the report had not been discussed yet. She also said that she is in need of more staff because the task is quite overwhelming for her, though she is always happy to do her best. Mr. Kimmel asked how things are going otherwise. Ms. Biagiarelli said that she has been talking to the Mayor about the issue, and that as far as the preliminary goes, they brought in $2.1m. She also stated that they did collect tax outstandings for as long as 15 years, adding that it was a very successful endeavor. Ms. Biagiarelli said that there also people looking to have their deposits returned, though that issue has yet to be resolved.

Mr. Miklave questioned whether there are any homeowners that have yet to be evicted. Ms. Biagiarelli said there were only two residential dwellings in the sale that were sold. She said that to her knowledge both will be redeemed. She added that there is definitely one that she is sure will be redeemed right away.
