CALL TO ORDER
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:30 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – AUGUST 9, 2001
Page 2, Fire Chief should read Police Chief throughout
** MR. MCCREADY MOVED TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF AUGUST 9,
2001 AS CORRECTED.
** MOTION PASSED WITH FOUR VOTES IN FAVOR AND ONE
ABSTENTION (MR. MCQUAID).
ROUND UP DISCUSSION
The Committee discussed the events leading up to and the results of the mayoral election. Thoughts of the changes that may take place were discussed now that Alex Knopp is the Mayor of Norwalk.
CHAIRMAN’S REMARKS
Mr. McCready indicated in his concluding remarks that he enjoyed working with the committee. Members commented on the many items that had been carried out under this committee and its overall success.
ADJOURNMENT
** MR. MCQUAID MOVED TO ADJOURN.
** MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
The Chairman adjourned the meeting at 8:45 p.m.
