Works Tree Maintenance

| In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes, Title 23, Chapter 451, and Norwalk City Code, Chapter 112, Connecticut Light & Power was issued Permit 2008-1 on April 22, 2008 and is thereby permitted to trim public trees and shrubs for the purpose of maintaining reliable service of utility lines within the boundaries of the City of Norwalk during Calendar Year 2008. Connecticut Light & Power through its tree trimming contractors Lewis Tree Service will be working in the following areas of the City: CL&P anticipates having Lewis start work in these areas in May 2008. 1. Wolfpit Avenue from Westport Avenue to Strawberry Hill Avenue. 2. Walter Avenue from Westport Avenue to Strawberry Hill Avenue. 3. Renzulli Road from Kitteridge Road to the Westport town line. 4. The area of Norwalk bounded by Geneva Road, Fillow Street, and Redcoat Road on the north, Charles S. Marshall Drive, Richards Avenue, and just east of the Flax Hill Road at Keeler Avenue intersection on the east, Geveva Road, Bonnybrook Road, Richards Avenue, and the Richards Avenue at Flax Hill Road intersection on the west, and Flax Hill Road on the south. 5. The area of Norwalk bounded by Knapp Street, Wilson Avenue, and Neptune Avenue on the north, Woodward Avenue and Harbor View Avenue on the east, Lexington Avenue, Sheehan Avenue, Wilson Avenue, Splitrock Road, and Outer Road on the west, and Outer Road, and Longshore Avenue on the south. 6. The area of Norwalk bounded by Quarry Lane, Field Street, Bumblebee Lane, and Weatherbell Drive on the north, Weatherbell Drive, Pumkin Lane, Columbine Lane, and Chestnut Hill Road on the east, Quarry Lane, East Rocks Road, Noah’s Lane Extension, Toilsome Avenue, and Grumman Avenue on the west, and the Merritt Parkway, Noah’s Lane, Anderson Road, and Sherwood Street on the south. 7. Connecticut Light & Power will make every effort to give at least two (2) weeks notice prior to beginning work in an area. If you should have any questions please contact
