PRESS ADVISORY March 9, 2007
I have been advised by the State of Connecticut that the light located at the intersections of Westport Avenue, Walter and Vollmer has been temporarily removed because the supporting pole was in danger of falling due to rust and wear. They are awaiting delivery of new equipment and upon receipt will reinstall the light. In the meantime, stop signs have been placed at Vollmer and Walter Avenue. We regret the inconvenience, but it is only temporary and we ask that all motorists use caution in the meantime.
