Office
of Mayor Richard A. Moccia
PRESS RELEASE Mayor Richard Moccia calls for residents to remember the
courage and sacrifices of WWII Veterans "65 years ago, President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared December 7th as a "date which will live in infamy," and from that day forward, our country was profoundly changed. Citizens of Norwalk, like so many others around our country, demonstrated a dedication to our principles and our way of life, chose to defend and protect AMERICA from its enemies and had enlisted into military service. These brave men and women earned the respect of all for their service
during WII”, states Mayor Moccia.
