INCERTO HOUSE TRAILERS TO BE MOVED FROM ANDREWS FIELD TOMORROW
Mayor Richard Moccia announces that the historic Incerto House currently stored
in trailers parked at Andrews Field will be moved on Wednesday, June 7, 2006
beginning at 2:00pm.
"I am so pleased that we have concluded all of the necessary legal
agreements between the City and Stanley M. Seligson Properties and
that we are now ready to move these trailers containing the historic
Incerto House to a secure location," said Mayor Richard Moccia.
"I want to personally thank Mr. Seligson for donating the secure space
for these trailers as it not only solves a safety and security issue we had,
but by removing these trailers from an open parking lot to a secure site
further protects the historic contents from damage and vandalism."
The Mayor made it a point to have these trailers moved when he became aware of the concerns of citizens reporting that these trailers were an eye-sore, found children playing under and around the trailers and that these trailers were becoming a target for some vandalism, which could have led to the loss of the Incerto House.
