The Norwalk Parking Authority is pleased to announce that the website is now available for current monthly parkers at the South Norwalk Railroad Station garage to renew their parking permit online.
Monthly permit holders can visit www.norwalkct.org/parkingauthority to register online. For your convenience the new online system accepts auto draft from your Visa or MasterCard on the first of each month, which will eliminate the need to stop in the office to renew monthly payments.
To begin: Go to the website, www.norwalkct.org/parkingauthority and click on Parking Facilities; Find the link for registering at the South Norwalk Railroad Station Garage.
If you do not wish to take advantage of the new service you may continue to drop off or mail your check as you have done in the past. Access cards will continue to be turned off by the 5th business day at the beginning of the month but if by the 15th day of the month you have not paid your monthly parking permit you may be susceptible to cancellation and replacement by parkers on the waiting list.
Parkers who presently do not have a monthly permit, but wish to be put on the wait list should register on line so we can notify you when a parking space is available in the garage. You will be notified by e-mail that you were placed on the waiting list. All those on the present waiting list will be given priority on the new on line system.
