When paying by mail: Write your list number(s) on the back of your check or money order, and make payable to TAX COLLECTOR, CITY OF NORWALK. Mail to: PO BOX 5530, SOUTH NORWALK, CT 06856, or to the Tax Collector's Office at City Hall, 125 East Avenue, Norwalk CT 06851. Include the entire lower portion of your bill with your payment (both payment coupons).

For return of receipts, enclose the entire lower portion of your bill (both coupons) AND a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your tax payment.

Tax bills for the first installment of the October 2007 grand list will be mailed in June 2008 and will be payable by August 1, 2008. Bills for the second installment will be sent in December 2008 and will be payable by February 1, 2009.

Tax rates for the grand list of 2007 will be set in May 2008.
