| The following requirements
are necessary to obtain a marriage license in Norwalk, CT.
Both the Bride and Groom must personally appear. Either the
Bride or Groom may start the application process. However, the
other party must appear before the wedding to sign the application.
Marriage License applications will be taken up until 4:00 pm
on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and until 6:40 pm
on Thursdays.
If either the bride or groom is under 18 years
of age, they must have their parent or guardian sign a consent
form. Identification must be presented by the parent. A birth
certificate must be presented by persons under 18 years of age.
After you complete and submit the Marriage License Application
Form, you must wait at least one business day before the completion
of your Marriage License.
The Marriage License is valid for 65 days after the date of
application.

of the Peace, who can perform your marriage ceremony,
is available from the Town Clerks Staff.
A blood test is NO LONGER REQUIRED for a marriage application.
The fee for a Marriage License is $30.00
