    3. REMARKS

Introduced Edmund Schmidt newly hired Assistant to the Mayor.

Mentioned that fact that the Human Relations Commission made a report today on the Brien McMahon yearbook incident and came out with a number of recommendations. I feel that the Human Relations Commission has made a valuable suggestion that would allow parents to file complaints with the Director of Human Relations position with the Board of Education. I intend to follow through and make sure that suggestion is implemented.

I want to thank members of the Council for staying late last Wednesday to hear the Price Waterhouse Cooper Audit Report. I will make an announcement next week on what I intend to do about the follow-up.
