The City of Norwalk has a service agreement with the company Point and Pay to accept credit card payments online, via telephone at (866) 974-8090, or at the tax collector's office
Taxpayers using this service may pay current taxes, delinquent taxes, or sewer use charges.
Point and Pay charges taxpayers a convenience fee for processing credit card transactions. The fee is 2.5% of the total and is disclosed up front. Taxpayers will have the opportunity to back out of the transaction before it is processed.
The fee for using an E Check (ACH payment) is $1.50.
Note: If a tax clearance for DMV is needed, please DO NOT USE the E-Check option for method of payment. If you choose to use this method the Tax Collector’s Office will not clear you for registration for 30 days, unless a copy of cancelled check or mini-statement from the bank is provided to the Tax Collector’s office, showing that the check has cleared your account.

Paying with Debit & ATM Cards
Debit and ATM cards may be used for payment of delinquent or current taxes at the tax office window. There is no charge for this payment method when payment is made in person at the Tax Office.
