Old Business
State Accreditation: Meeting for agencies was held at the Academy to update on status. Revised standards were distributed.
New Business
CALEA CONFERENCE: Sgt Kulhawik reported on PAC President's meeting and SIRC. On-site schedule change was discussed but no change to revised schedule anticipated. SIRC received request from Staff for new standard concerning indentifying problem employees, which would bring together various area (IA, USE OF FORCE, Etc) to be reviewed by one central administrator to identify potential problems. Proposal to be forwarded to PAC's for opinion. Thus far PAC has not received any information.
BURLINGTON CONFERENCE: November conference is scheduled for Burlington, VT. Conference hotel Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center (802) 865-6600 is expected to fill quickly. Reservations should be made as soon as possible.
Law Enforcement Trust & Integrity Act 2000: Bill pending authorizing Attorgeny General to rewview accreditation standards, assist in developing additional standards related to Early Warning; Traffic Stops Statistics; Training; etc... and authorize $5,000,000 in grants for law enforcement accreditation.
