CALEA

• Conference in Birmingham, AL
      Discussion on conference just completed.
      IACLEA reports that alliance is on hold with CALEA. Subcommittee to meet on the issue of alliances.
      Guilford PD accredited at conference.
• CONNPAC providing 3-4 training seminars at Boston Conference
  

STATE ACCREDITATION

• Review of AC/TRAC  - Additional agencies report they will be purchasing software.
• As of the June POST Council meeting - Expect to have 11 agencies State Accredited.
• Committee formed to review State Standards - Meeting April 27th at POST. Ray Bouchard will be coordinating.  Any input from others in the state program would be appreciated and should be forwarded. Additional committee members are also invited. Expect that any changes would have a one year grace period for implementation on agencies.
• State Conference.  Discussion of planning a one day state conference for training as well as to recognize newly accredited agencies in a more formal manner. Subcommittee to meet to begin discussions on this issue. Committee to meet April 27th at 11:30am. Additional committee members also invited to attend. Considering a Fall Conference.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Norwalk PD will be hosting June meeting. June meeting will be at 11:00am, followed by light lunch and tours of new Norwalk Headquarters for those interested. Additional information will be distributed at May meeting.
• Schedule of meetings for next 12 months as follows: All at POST unless noted.
  MAY 11, JUN 8 (Norwalk), No meetings July or August, SEP 14, OCT 12, NOV 9, DEC 14,
  JAN 6, 2006, FEB 8, MAR 8, APR 12, MAY 10, JUN 14.

Next meeting is scheduled for May 11th at 9:30 a.m. at POST.
