MEETING MINUTES

ATTENDEES:	POSTC, Norwalk, East Hartford, New Canaan, Trumbull, WCSU, State Capitol, Farmington, Bethel, Ridgefield, CAP, IACLEA, Branford, Enfield, Wethersfield

Meeting called to order at 9:30am

Treasurer Report: 1350.88

Secretary Report: Minutes accepted as submitted.

CALEA

Discussed response to letter received from Washington PAC, concerning issues with service, TAME software, and recognition program.

Linda Carlin will make contact with Ted Lemay from CALEA to set up training and question and answer discussion on CALEA issues and Fifth Edition. Looking towards May meeting, and date will be finalized once contact made with Ted Lemay on his availability.

Several members attended Jacksonville Conference. Overall the feeling was that the training has improved at the conferences. Interesting issue was that there were no handouts provided on Fifth Edition and there appeared to be confusion on the conversion to the Fifth Edition Standards.

Several departments have onsites upcoming. Request that upcoming onsite dates and call in hours be emailed to PAC Secretary who will then forward the info the entire PAC.

STATE ACCREDITATION

Bethel interested in reviewing others policies and procedures as they are preparing to rewrite their directives.

MISCELLANEOUS

UPCOMING STATE ONSITES: West Haven - April; Ridgefield - May, Wolcott and Wallingford to follow.

Next meeting - TBD - May meeting date/location pending contact with Ted Lemay..
