Meeting called to order at 9:36 am.

Old Business

State Accreditation: Meeting will be held shortly with agencies that are ready for state on-sites to discuss current status of program.

CALEA SIRC: Information received from CALEA regarding proposed changes to commentary in two standards. 42.1.2 - Agreed to proposed commentary change. 72.9.6 - No action on this proposed commentary change.

New Business

CALEA NEWSLETTER: CALEA is looking for articles for the CALEA Newsletter.   Articles should be forwarded to Steve Mitchell, at CALEA.

PROPOSED ON-SITE CHANGES: CALEA has advised that on-sites will be moved up one month to allow them more time to prepare for conferences. Therefore, May on-sites will be moved to April; September on-sites to August and January on-sites to December.,  PAC voted to send letter to CALEA voicing our concern with the proposal and requesting that on-sites only be moved up within the same month. December on-sites and August on-sites will be difficult for agencies.

ON-SITES: UCONN, Manchester and Norwalk have on-sites scheduled for Jan 22 - 26.   Public hearings for all are scheduled for Monday January 24th at 7:00pm. Representatives from PAC to attend.

NEXT MEETING:  February 16, 2000 at 9:30am.

Additional meeting dates tentatively scheduled for March 8 and April 12.
