Meeting called to order at 1:10pm.

No report. Books being transfered to new Treasurer.

Old Business
CALEA State Accreditation Task Force: Deputy Chief Ray Bouchard reported on status of CALEA/State Program relationship. It appears that CALEA will require state programs who wish to allign with CALEA to accept "verbatim:" the core standards of CALEA. Connecticut CHief's State Accreditation Committee will move forward with current program which is not "verbatim" as it is well underway and implementend. Further disucssion to take place ay Montral COnference with a final decision by CALEA on program expected at Atlanta conference.
State Assessor Training is planned for one full day in mid-September at the POST Academy.
New Business
"Cold Case Standard": CALEA forwarded memo concerning the request by an agency for the implementation of a new standard covering "Cold Case Investigations and "Col,d Case Units" for large agencies. Members to discuss matter and forward opinsion on matter at September CONN-PAC meeting.
There will be no August meeting. Meetings will resume in September.
