MEETING MINUTES

Meeting called to order at 11:10am

Treasurer Report: $2078.31 Balance in Treasury

Secretary Report: Minutes accepted as submitted

CALEA

Revisions Proposed - Discussed possible changes for Fifth Edition. Appears Chapters 72 and 46 will be undergoing major revision. New standards are being proposed for Boston and vote for new changes could take place at Nashville Conference.

Judicial Marshals will be attending Boston Conference and are on agenda to be presented for Accreditation.

Reminder that CONNPAC assisted with providing training for Boston Conference in July.

M. Daly and R. Bouchard discussed mock onsite conducted for the Rhode Island State Police.

Suggestion made to post or email dates of scheduled mock onsites in order that agencies may send a representative to assist/observe to learn the process.

STATE ACCREDITATION

Review of AC/TRAC - Software developers contacted and are working on providing training for agencies in the use of the tracking program for State Accreditation.

Guilford is scheduled for State Accreditation at June meeting.

State Standards Review Committee will meet again on June 29th.

State Conference. Discussion continues regarding the planning of a one day state conference.

MISCELLANEOUS

Recently retired Monroe Police Officer Dan Brennan was presented with plaque in appreciation of his service to the PAC and to State Accreditation Program.

NO MEETINGS IN JULY AND AUGUST!

Next meeting is scheduled for September 14th at 9:30 a.m. at POST - Meriden.
