Policy Subcommittee
Model policies discussed. Additions may be needed on Profiling draft to address all CALEA issues. Draft policies are posted on website and will discussed and finalized at April meeting.March CALEA conference
Several members to attend Jacksonville CALEA conference. No issues brought from floor, however, PAC to address change in training dates at President's Meeting. CALEA to hold Introductory workshops on Wednesday, extending conference one day. Request to be made to also schedule Introductory programs on Thursday as many agencies will not be able to extend trip by one day at conferences.State Accreditation
CPCA to enter alliance with CALEA. Furthers discussions to be held at April meeting with CALEA representative. Several questions raised that staff may be able to address.Monroe and Torrington almost ready for mock and then onsites. Timing to be determined.
REMINDER: Training/CALEA Attendance at CONNPAC
Ted LeMay from CALEA will attend the April CONNPAC meeting which will be moved to Monday, April 8th at Manchester Police. Mr. LeMay will present a PowerPoint training seminar on the new OnSite Assessment process.REMINDER: Elections
Election of CONNPAC officers for 2002-2003 will take place at June meeting. Nominations to be received in May. President and Vice-President positions will be open. Treasurer and Secretary will run again and continue in positions if no other members wish to nominate for these positions.
Next meeting scheduled for MONDAY April 8, 2002 - 9:30am - Manchester Police.

I-84 east to exit 60, take a right at the bottom of the exit, heading eastbound.
Get in the left turn lane; dogleg onto West Middle Turnpike, in front of Cheney Tech High School. Bear Right at next 2 traffic lights.
Continue eastbound on Middle Turnpike approximately 5 miles.
MPD will be on the left beyond Manchester High School (right side) and Illing Middle School (left side, next door)
