MEETING MINUTES

Meeting called to order at 9:34
SECRETARY REPORT:

$2372.62 Balance.OLD BUSINESS:
Enfield PD reported that they actually had one applied discretion during their onsite. Not the two reported in last month's minutes.
Lt Daly, CSP reported on their onsite. They had one applied discretion and reported that the onsite went well.
CSP, Enfield and Berlin are all on agenda for hearings for reaccreditation at the Buffalo CALEA Conference.
VIDEO:
The new CONNPAC video is almost completed. Hoping to complete for June
CONNPAC meeting. Mr. Bouchard reported that he would like to work on State
Accreditation Video once the CALEA/PAC video is completed.
PRESENTATION BY TED LEMAY:
Mr. Bouchard reported that he has a copy of the presentation Mr. LeMay made
at the April meeting and will provide copies for any one who is interested.
MOCK ONSITES:
Meriden reports that they are scheduled for an August CALEA on-site. They
recently completed their mock onsite and reported that all went pretty well and are on
schedule to be completed ands ready for August.
CCSP mock on site scheduled for May 26th. Interested parties to act as assessors should contact Ray Bouchard.
Oneida, NY Tribal Police are having a mock onsite in Mid-July and are looking for assessors to assist. Contact Ray Bouchard if interested for further information.
NEW BUSINESS:
Susan Mcquay, Manchester Police, inquired about beginning a program of swapping
policy manuals on CD. Program to be discussed and may begin in the Fall.
STATE ACCREDITATION
Ray Bouchard, former Deputy Chief of Enfield Police has started with POSTC as
Accreditation Manager. He began his duties on Monday May 10th. He is in the process of
organizing the State Accreditation information and setting up the POST Accreditation
office. His new office number is (203) 238-6026. His state email has not yet been set up.
He will be contacting agencies in the process and plans to visit with agencies awaiting
state accreditation within the next two weeks. He asked that any agency who is not
contacted by him should call him. Plans are to proceed with the Alliance with
CALEA and further the State Accreditation process.
