MEETING MINUTES

New Canaan, Ridgefield, UCONN

Meeting called to order at 0930

Treasurers Report: No Report

Secretary’s Report: No Report

Mock On Sites
The following department's have requested Mock On Sites:
Farmington - January 2003
New Canaan - March 2003
CSP - September 2003
Avon - September 2003
Glastonbury - September 2003
Enfield - March 2004
Any other departments that would like to schedule a Mock On Site, should contact Christina Barrow  - Avon PD 409-4217.

Farmington proposed having agencies bring files to the monthly meetings for review by members of the PAC. UCONN discussed having the agency that is requesting the Mock, host the monthly meeting and have the members conduct the mock following the end of the meeting, making it a day of training. Members agreed this was a good idea. Farmington will host January meeting and mock will be conducted following the meeting.

State Accreditation
Post has agreed to manage the program - to be completed by Spring 2003 (tentative), with a July 1st start up date.

State Assessor Training
Currently there are 10 trained assessors. Discussion too place regarding training of additional assessors, possibly following a monthly meeting. Discussion also took place regarding stipends for assessors.

Awards
Monroe and Simsbury will be presented for State Accreditation on December 17th by the CPCA.

Motion to suspend meetings until January - Approved

Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday,  January 22, 2003 - 9:30am - Farmington Police with mock on site following meeting.

Directions to Farmington Police Department

From Hartford: Take 1-84 west to Exit 38 continue straight onto Rt. 6 and follow Rt. 6 for 3.9 miles. At New Britain Avenue (Traffic Light) take a right. The police department is approximately 3.4 miles on the right.

From Waterbury: Take I-84 east to Exit 37 (Fienemann Road) and take a left at the end of the Ramp. Take a left onto Rt. 6 and follow Rt. 6 for or 3.9 miles. At New Britain Avenue (Traffic Light) take a right. The police department is approximately 3.4 miles on the right.
