CALEA
New England PAC hosted a regional meeting of executive board members in Auburn, Mass on October 25th to discuss issues with CALEA. Tom Kulhawik and Linda Carlin attended the meeting. Minutes of the Regional Pac Meeting were handed out to PAC members (see attached). New England would like to form a Regional Pac made up of officers from the local Pacs in New England and meet 2 months prior to each CALEA Conference as a Regional PAC to discuss issues to bring to the conference.
STATE ACCREDITATION
Waterford requested a date for a Mock Onsite
November 14, 2006 Wolcott, CT onsite Tier I
January onsite being scheduled for Watertown P.D.
Ray Bouchard is going to make a presentation to the Fairfield Police Commission regarding State Accreditation
MISCELLANEOUS
PAC Dues ($50) have been received from most agencies. (Updated list is attached).
November Elections:
President -Nominations were made, but not accepted. Presidency will be re- voted in December.

Mock onsite for Glastonbury went well on October 23rd. Tim Juergens from East Hartford, Tom Fowler from Branford and Linda Carlin from Farmington conducted the Mock. Avon Mock for 10/23rd was cancelled.
(Homeland Security - CALEA 5th Edition - Accreditation Manager Training - All Hazard Plan - CEO Training - Process training involving policy, resources, file maintenance, pitfalls encountered, mock panel, assessor notes & info).
December meeting scheduled as the annual Holiday Luncheon at the Capitol for December 6 @ 11:00 am. A short business meeting will take place and then the luncheon will follow. Two members from each agency that pays dues can go free of charge. Any additional person or persons that do not pay dues there will be a $ 10.00 charge for the luncheon. Tracy Morin, Accreditation Manager for the State Capital Police will be following up with the PAC with directions and an RSVP date.
January meeting scheduled for January 3rd at POST-Meriden in Classroom # 5. Agencies are asked to bring two sample files from their agency to show File Set Up and also bring any policies they may have on CD or hard copy for review by agencies looking to get accredited.
PAC officers are asked to be at the December meeting at 10:30 am at the Capital before the regular business meeting at 11:00 am.
