MEETING MINUTES

Meeting called to order at 9:30am

Treasurer Report: $1834.73 Balance in Treasury

Secretary Report: Minutes accepted as submitted

CALEA

Video almost complete. Final editing should be done and the video should be ready for the November meeting.

Comments on proposed changes for the Fifth Edition were forwarded, however there has been no feedback, nor any indication on the website of what others comments were, etc...

EARS training by Ted Lemay will be available on Monday, November 7th at the Farmington Police Department. CALEA assessors interested in the training must contact Ray Bouchard by Tuesday, November 1st. (203) 238-6026.

STATE ACCREDITATION

Revision is complete. Committee will be meeting on the 26th to finalize. Expect the revisions to be approved in January and agencies would have one year after approval to meet compliance.

One day conference in the Spring is still being planned.

Additional agencies are beginning the process, including Plainfield and Wilton. East Hampton and Danbury have also expressed interest.

MISCELLANEOUS

November meeting change: November meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 10th at 11:00am hosted by East Hartford Police. Lunch will be provided. Tour of new facility will be available.

Next meeting is scheduled for THURSDAY November 10th at 11:00 a.m. at East Hartford Police Department.
