At latest Legal Update meeting, Tim Shugrue stated that officers working in regional units should be cross- sworn in all towns they will work in.

DIRECTIONS TO BERLIN COMMUNITY CENTER
240 KENSINGTON ROAD, BERLIN, CT.
Interstate 91 North or South to Exit 22N to Route 9.
Route 9 North to Exit 24.
Exit 24 is a left exit, which appears to be a fork in the highway.
Signs indicate "RT 71 and RT 372 Left Exit" "Willow Brook Park" as you travel Rt 9.
When you make the left onto Exit 24 you will travel only a short distance passing under a bridge carrying Rt 9 South and a railroad bridge. As soon as you pass under the railroad bridge you will exit right to Rt 71 (New Britain Road). At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Rt. 71. Pass two (2) traffic signals and continue to blinking signal at the four (4) way stop. Fleet Bank on your left and Eagle Bank across Main Street on your left. Continue through the intersection. The street name changes to Kensington Road. The railroad tracks will be on your left. Continue on Kensington Road approximately 3/4 of a mile. The driveway to the Municipal Complex (Brick wall at street with signs) will be on your right. The Berlin Police Department is located around the back on the right side.
Interstate 84 East or West to Exit Rt. 72 East for New Britain.
Continue Rt 72 through New Britain to Rt 9 South
Follow Rt 9 South until you reach Christian Lane, Exit #23.
At end of ramp, turn right onto Christian Lane. Continue to stop sign. The road now becomes Porters Pass.
Continue through traffic light, the road becomes Bumham Road.
At end of Burnham Road, stop sign, you turn left onto Four Rod Road.
You will travel on Four Rod Road approximately 100 yards and take your first right onto Camels Back Road which crosses over railroad tracks. At the end of Camels Back turn left onto Kensington Road. Immediately watch for sign Berlin Town Hall (brick wall) follow driveway as above.
NOTES: If traveling 1-84 West you can pick up 1-91 and follow above directions.
You cannot exit Rt 9 Northbound at exit 23 nor Rt 9 Southbound at exit 24. These two exits only accommodate exiting in one direction.
