State education building permit: $0.26 per $1,000 spent (commercial or residential)

Electrical, Plumbing, & HVAC Permits Fees
Residential: Those not included in building permit fees are $13, plus an education fee of $0.26 for every $1,000 spent (minimum $75)
Commercial: Those not included in building permit fees are $16, plus an education fee of $0.26 for every $1,000 spent (minimum $100)

Penalties & Off-Hour Inspection Rates
Weekend and off-hour inspections: $200 per inspector
Work started before issuance of permits: (per building official approval only) results in a minimum fine of $500 and a maximum fine of $1,000
