Application & Zoning Permit Information
Below are application forms detailing the process for making applications to the Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Zoning Commission and the annual meeting schedule for the Planning Commission, Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.
The application for a zoning permit is not provided here; since this form must be completed in triplicate, an original form must be obtained from the Planning and Zoning Department.
IMPORTANT: Effective on March 30, 2015, the Norwalk Planning and Zoning office will accept payments by credit and debit card only; cash and checks will no longer be accepted. This applies to the fees charged by all of the boards and commissions under the jurisdiction of this office including, but not limited to: applications to the Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning Commission and zoning permits
IMPORTANT: Effective May 27, 2016 NEW notification of application submittal for all CAM, Site Plan and Special Permit applications: Applicants must notify the owners of land that abut or are directly across the street from the subject parcel of the submittal of a new CAM, SPR or Special permit application no later than 10 days after application is submitted to this office.
