Calf Pasture and Shady Beach
Announcement-
The 2020 Resident pass expires on March 31st, 2021. It will be extended until April 15th. Please check https://nwlk.norwalkct.org/passes/ to download your new 2021 season pass after April 15th.
There’s so much to do here everyday!
Baseball/softball, volleyball, skate park, playground, refreshing splash pad, sun and sand sports, the sailing school, bocce, basketball, and 3/4 of a mile of scenic coastline with tremendous views. There are also special events scheduled all season long ranging from classic car shows to fabulous free concerts! (Some activities may be suspended due to COVID-19) Enjoy a casual meal of beachy food, or try the delicious fresh seafood at Ripka’s. Always fresh and served with a smile! Please note, there will be no lifeguard on duty after Labor Day. Our beach hours are 7:30 am-9 pm.
Day Parking Passes
Norwalk Residents need to verify their license plate # is in our Grand list before parking at Calf Pasture Beach or Shady Beach. Click the following link to verify Download a resident parking pass. For Norwalk residents who have a vehicle registered in another town- you can still buy your Beach and Disposal Pass at City Hall- Please bring proof of address and your car registration to the Recreation and Parks walk-up window at the City Hall entrance from 9 am- 2 pm.
All Non-Resident Parking for Calf Pasture Beach is at TAYLOR FARM ONLY. There are 75 parking spots available per day (it is first come first serve) Please pay before leaving your car. Day Parking Passes can be purchased on the ParkMobile app or by calling 877-727-5730. (Beach Zone# 2035)
The non-resident parking fee is $40/car on weekdays before 5:00pm, $20/ car after 5:00pm. Non-Residents will NOT be allowed on the beach on Saturday and Sunday and holidays until October 15th. You can also call our Beach Hotline at (203)854-7938 for more information.

The "Landlocked towns 2020 season passes" are sold out for the 2020 season.
For Norwalk residents who have a vehicle registered in another town- you can still buy your Beach and Disposal Pass at City Hall- Please bring proof of address and your car registration to the Recreation and Parks walk-up window at the City Hall entrance. It will be available Monday-Friday from 9 am-2 pm.

Wedding Ceremony at the beach...
If you’re wishing for a blue water backdrop for your special day and you can’t do the Caribbean, how about a celebration at Calf Pasture Beach, or neighboring Shady Beach? Both offer easily affordable options that don’t require shoes. We can’t guarantee rainbows but they do happen! Click HERE for fee information.

Kayak Rack Rental
The City of Norwalk Recreation and Parks Department is excited to now offer Kayak storage Rental at Calf Pasture Beach for $150.00 per season (One Kayak space per person).
