Commercial Permit Information
Commercial Permits - License and Vehicle Registration(s) expire each year on June 30th.
A valid Commercial Permit - License and Vehicle Registration is required to collect, transport, and/or dispose of solid waste within the City of Norwalk limits in accordance with the City's Ordinance and State Statutes.
If a Commercial Account FAILS TO OBTAIN THE PROPER PERMIT - LICENSE AND VEHICLE REGISTRATION BY JULY 1ST, ACCESS WILL BE DENIED at the Norwalk Transfer Station and/or the Norwalk Yard Waste Site.

In addition, Commercial Vehicles collecting or transporting solid waste within the City of Norwalk will be subject to a $250 per day fine, as outlined in Chapter 94 of the City's Ordinance.
