Proceeds from the event go directly toward the preservation and upkeep of Oak Hills Park
(Norwalk, Conn.) – On Monday, September 23, 2019, Oak Hills Park in Norwalk, Conn. will host the 2019 Mayor’s Trophy Golf Tournament. Tickets and sponsorships are still available. This can’t-miss event costs $150 per person and $500 per foursome, and includes breakfast, lunch, green fees, cart rental, and more. Registration is open until September 16 and the event is expected to sell-out.
“Oak Hills Park is a beautiful place to play a round of golf, have food or drink, and spend time with friends and family,” said Norwalk Mayor Harry W. Rilling. “This will surely be a great event to benefit Oak Hills Park. I hope the public will join me for friendly golf competition, wonderful prizes, and, of course, bragging rights.”
The event features prizes for the top three teams, longest drive, closest to the pin, and more. The public can register as a foursome or as an individual and be paired with other players. Those who wish to support the event, but do not want to golf can register for lunch and explore the walking trails, great lawn and fountain garden areas for $35 per person.
The 18-hole public golf course at Oak Hills Park in Norwalk, Conn. features 6,407 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The assorted layout offers a blend of naturally designed holes and presents a variety of challenging shots for golfers of all skill levels.
